Well ok it should be evident anyways.
Sadly however many fall by the wayside by this very lack of preperation or understanding of what may be required of them.
Also there are many people out to exploit the "dream" or lack of experience of the new performer/model.
It simply is not true today that all performers come from a training background. Not all models work via an agency.
The new talent initiative reconises this and aims to help build up confidence and range for those starting out. It is set to build up a profile of images reflecting the talents of the subject - but also to "tell it as it is" and make no false promises.
It is aimed at those from around 8 years of age to late teens - but as with most things in life there are age exceptions.
The aim of NTI is to provide photoshoots either at low cost or free on the undrstanding that images from these shoots may also be used within my work.
The idea is no one should be excluded just because they cannot afford to "get their images done" or build on their experience. That said any initiative like this can only work if those who can do pay something towards it, thus allowing more aspriring performers to take part, as this money is put back into the initiative.
People may also sponsor the scheme or make contributions towards it thus allowing it to build.
